Suhail Colon, DNP, AARNP, FNP-BC is a board-certified nurse practitioner at the Center for Digestive Health. She began her career as a CNA in 2003, quickly discovering her passion for improving patients’ lives and practicing for years before completing her Bachelor of Science in nursing at Ana G. Mendez University in 2015. Her master’s would come soon after, as well as her Doctorate in Nursing Practice, which she received in 2024. Working in a range of care environments — including medicine wards, surgical units, PACUs, and endoscopy settings — Suhail has over 20 years of clinical experience. Her diverse and extensive professional background has allowed her to refine her abilities while developing a unique approach to patient care. 

Suhail is an active member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, the Florida Nurses Association, the Florida Nurse Practitioner Network, the Central Florida Advanced Nursing Practice Council, and the American Gastroenterological Association. She speaks both English and Spanish.
